Artist Alley

Welcome to the Artist Alley Information page. The Artist Alley is a section inside of our Exhibitor Hall that offers individuals who produce non-commercial work a space to promote and sell their handmade items.

Space is very limited. We recommend anyone who is looking to book a table inside of the Artist Alley to register online as soon as possible.

Artist Alley Registration

Artist Alley Membership This is AA registration for the con. Must be purchased with or before a table registration. $15.00

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars
  • Badges are limited to 4 per table!
  • To register for Artist Alley, please contact the AA Director at victoria.baker@northernanime.ca! AA registration is now CLOSED.
  • Artists can pick up their packages from the Staff Office at the convention.

Table Information

The table space we are offering this year is 5ft by 2ft. Upon registration you will receive the full table. Your table will include a tablecloth and a chair. Additional chairs can be provided if notified in advance.

Please note that tables are sold on a first-paid, first-served basis. The best way to guarantee you will be getting a table is to pre-register before June 30th, 2010. Please note that your badge is not included in the price of the table. Badges are sold separately.

Artist Alley Policies

  • Artists are welcome to setup their table(s) in any way they see fit, as long as it does not violate any of the convention policies and/or venue policies.

  • Artists are asked to make sure that any adult material is kept hidden and not visible to minors.

  • Artists are asked to comply with fire regulations by not having overhanging displays blocking hallways and/or exits.

  • Artists are allowed to sell commercial/published works providing that the artist owns the rights to do so.

  • Artists may not sell re-purposed works, such as buttons and stickers, with artwork they have not drawn themselves. Artists may not sell replications of existing works. (If you would like to sell these kinds of items please register as a Dealer).

  • Artists may sell items in any medium, from paper prints to hand-made jewellery and plushies.

  • Artists must obey the convention policies and venue policies. Behaviour which causes a disruption in the operation of Northern Anime Festival and/or its venue will result in expulsion. No refunds will be given.

Liability

Artists are responsible for their own property, merchandise, and money. Under no circumstances will Northern Anime Festival or its agents be liable for loss or damage, including but not limited to loss or damage of merchandise, equipment, or revenue. By purchasing a table for Artist Alley you are agreeing to these terms.
